Job summary

Boeing is seeking a System Test Procedure Development Engineer (Mid-Level) in El Segundo, CA, to design, implement, and maintain test procedures for satellite systems. You will work with Systems Engineering and STE teams to ensure subsystem performance meets customer requirements and support factory floor testing as needed.

The role emphasizes developing automated test scripts, validating them on simulators and test beds, and maintaining rigorous documentation across the test lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in test procedure development, test execution, and test reporting.
• 3+ years of experience with electrical test equipment (DMM, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, VNA, oscilloscope).
• 3+ years of programming in C#, C++, and knowledge of Python.
• Experience with space-based applications for electrical, RF, and/or digital subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Develop story board that defines test procedure architecture and methodology.
• Create test procedure documentation based on released test requirements and storyboard.
• Develop automated test scripts.
• Validate test scripts against simulator, emulator, test bed, and/or test equipment.
• Support development of test phase procedures for system-level tests.
• Maintain test documentation, version control, and configuration management of test scripts.
• Support test setup, execution, data collection, analysis, and anomaly resolution during system-level tests.
