Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Spacecraft Systems Flight Controller in Louisville, CO for 24/7 mission coverage. You’ll monitor telemetry, execute procedures, and provide real-time decisions to ensure mission success and spacecraft health.

The role requires a degree in engineering, 2+ years in spacecraft operations, and experience with real-time consoles. FAA medical clearance is required. On-site at Louisville, CO during missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems) or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of spacecraft systems or real-time operations experience.
• Strong understanding of requirements management, system integration and lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Monitor spacecraft telemetry and execute nominal/contingency procedures.
• Provide go/no-go recommendations to Flight Director during missions.
• Coordinate with ESR and other console positions for issues.
• Develop procedures, flight rules and console display pages.
