Job summary

Sierra Space in Colorado is seeking a Spacecraft Systems Flight Controller to monitor real-time telemetry and execute procedures for Dream Chaser missions from the Taylor Mission Control Center in Louisville. You will command console disciplines, analyze anomalies, and provide go/no-go recommendations to the Flight Director.

Responsibilities include pre-mission planning, developing display pages, coordinating with ESR engineers, and maintaining 24/7 mission coverage through 9-hour shifts on

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 2+ years in spacecraft systems or related technical field.
• Strong understanding of spacecraft systems engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time telemetry and execute nominal and contingency procedures.
• Coordinate with ESR personnel to resolve technical issues.
• Review flight plans and develop console products for simulations and certification.
• Provide go/no-go recommendations to the Flight Director during missions.
• Develop procedures, flight rules, and display pages; investigate anomalies."
