Job summary

Space Systems Integration LLC in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Spacecraft Systems Engineer with a strong software and interface background to support a dynamic space program. You will provide Systems Engineering and Acquisition support with emphasis on software-intensive systems and interfaces across the spacecraft lifecycle.

The role requires a Master’s in an engineering/technical field, 10+ years of experience, active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, and willingness to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, science, or technical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in software-intensive systems engineering, interfaces, and integration.
• Experience supporting or working within Government acquisition or program offices.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and CI polygraph.
• Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive systems engineering support to Government customers within an integrated program office environment.
• Support full lifecycle acquisition and systems engineering activities from pre-acquisition through launch and on-orbit checkout.
• Lead and support software and interface-focused systems engineering efforts, including ICDs and requirements artifacts.
• Coordinate with contractor software and systems engineers to resolve interface issues and manage technical risks.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, ICDs, requirements artifacts, and briefings.
