Job summary

Astro Digital designs, builds, and operates a diverse range of small satellite systems for earth observation, communications, and space missions. The Spacecraft Systems Engineer will develop budgets, define requirements, and drive the verification and test processes, while hands-on with flight hardware and mission development.

The role focuses on cross-disciplinary collaboration across engineering, production, and operations, and requires strong communication and a solid background in spacecraft

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in aerospace/satellite development, from design to on-orbit operations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of key spacecraft subsystems and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain performance budgets for vehicle systems.
• Define system requirements and verification processes.
• Create simulations and analyses of vehicle functions.
• Plan tests and evaluate data to guide mission development.
• Lead technical development of spacecraft missions and support program management.
