Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Product Manager to own key spacecraft platform subsystems, including power, GNC, and propulsion. This hybrid role requires on-site work at our San Jose, CA office three days per week and reports to the Director of Product Management - Spacecraft.

You will define and prioritize features, author PRDs, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to align strategic roadmaps with customer missions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Product Management experience in hardware-focused environments.
• Experience with solar power systems, propulsion, or related deep-tech hardware.
• Proven ability to drive features across multiple months of effort.
• Ability to translate customer needs into detailed product requirements.
• Strong collaboration with engineering and leadership to influence investments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for spacecraft subsystems (Power, Propulsion, GNC).
• Define features to improve quality, schedule adherence, and customer value.
• Draft clear PRDs, align stakeholders, and ensure follow-through.
• Collaborate with engineering, mission systems, and production teams to shape roadmap.
• Conduct customer interviews and translate insights into roadmap decisions.
