Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in manufacturing or mechanical engineering in aerospace/defense/high-reliability sectors.
• 3+ years designing tooling, fixtures, or MGSE with load-path and safety focus.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD (Siemens NX) including GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop MGSE and tooling for structures and vehicle integration lines.
• Perform load-path and structural-margin checks; coordinate proof-load and qualification testing.
• Develop and qualify mechanical/structural integration processes (fastening, torque control, joints, metrology alignment).
• Create and maintain work instructions, travelers, and as-built records for structural/mechanical build.
• Drive manufacturability and assembly considerations early in design (access, tool clearance, integration order).
• Own cleanroom manufacturing practices (ISO 7); manage contamination control and FOD prevention.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions; support PFMEA, validation, and first article inspection.
• Act as owner of Anduril's Manufacturing Development Process; use Foundry and Teamcenter as records systems.
• Support design reviews (PDR/CDR) and manufacturing readiness; provide hands-on support to technicians on floor.
