Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Structural Analyst II in the Town of Florida, NY, to support the Lunar Permanence business unit by developing safety and reliability protocols for spacecraft cargo delivery systems.

This role involves solving structural problems, performing finite element modeling, and verifying dynamic loads. A B.S. degree and a minimum of 3 years experience are required, along with proficiency in tools such as Matlab and NASTRAN.

The compensation range for this position is $99,201 - $138,880 annually.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural dynamics and loads.
• Solid foundation of structural static/dynamic fundamentals.
• Experience in spacecraft structural/environmental loads development.

Responsibilities

• Solve a variety of static and dynamic structural problems.
• Model, simulate, and verify spacecraft launch and landing events.
• Develop and validate Finite Element Models.
