Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the design and manufacturing of cutting edge space products. You will generate and manage project documentation, develop system-level requirements, and ensure verification through testing.

Collaboration with program management and leading technical teams is essential. Ideal candidates have a BS in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering and 8+ years of experience in production hardware, plus familiarity with aerospace standards and simulation

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 8+ years designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing production hardware.
  • Proven systems-level engineering experience and prior leadership of technical teams.
  • Experience with PDM Pro, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, Thermal Desktop, NASTRAN, or ANSYS.

Responsibilities

  • Generate, review, and present project documentation.
  • Develop system-level requirements, verification procedures, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure requirements traceability and verification through successful test execution.
  • Participate in or lead non-conformance investigations.
  • Partner with program management to align execution with customer expectations and internal guidelines.
  • Control project costs through resource planning and close management of system-level decisions.
  • Lead and manage technical teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects.
