Job summary

York Space Systems is seeking a Launch Systems Integration Engineer to serve as a key technical interface between York's spacecraft teams, launch vehicle providers, customers, and launch range organizations.

You will lead the integration of York spacecraft onto launch vehicles, ensuring that technical requirements, interfaces, analyses, testing, and verification are aligned throughout the mission lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
3+ years in aerospace, space systems, or related engineering.
Experience with spacecraft-to-launch-vehicle integration or similar complex systems.
Experience with technical requirements, interfaces, verification or system-level analyses.
Hands-on hardware or software project experience.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to work across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Willingness to travel to launch sites and partner locations.

Responsibilities

Coordinate between York and launch vehicle teams to define interfaces and flight dependencies.
Lead cross-functional analyses to keep inputs, assumptions and outputs aligned.
Develop and maintain LSIRDs and ICDs between spacecraft and launch vehicle.
Drive requirements allocation and ensure proper implementation.
Resolve interface conflicts and develop system-level solutions.
Develop and execute integration test plans to reduce risk.
Manage verification and closure plans for interface requirements.
Track verification evidence and drive ICD closure through launch readiness.
Lead spacecraft launch integration and campaign activities at the launch range.
