Job summary

Rocket Lab USA Inc. is seeking an Integration & Test Engineer I/II based in Long Beach, California. This role involves developing and testing flight spacecraft systems, contributing to exciting projects that support NASA missions and spacecraft development.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering and some experience in the aerospace industry, specifically in roles related to test engineering. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.

Qualifications

  • US citizenship is required, due to program requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, aerospace, or other engineering degree.
  • Engineering experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Experience in writing technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and own integration and test campaigns during spacecraft development.
  • Collaborate to define systems requirements and verification plans.
  • Develop acceptance and qualification test plans for spacecraft systems.
  • Operate environmental test systems (Vibe, TVAC, Thermal, EMI, etc.).
  • Interface with ground test software and implement flight software configuration changes.
