Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is developing Starmind, a satellite-based AI compute network. Integration & Test Engineer will own the manufacturing line for hardware enabling on-orbit AI processing, including assembly, integration, and testing of compute electronics, memory, and networking.

The role requires hands-on design and testing experience in propulsion/thermal/electrical/structural systems, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to drive test flows in a production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of design and/or hands-on manufacturing experience (internships/project experience is applicable).
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, or another programming language.
• Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical and/or structural systems.
• Experience integrating avionics systems.
• Proficiency in NX/CATIA/SolidWorks or any industry standard CAD design tools.
• Experience writing test plans, procedures, and providing go/no-go judgment and rationale; Experience in a production environment.
• Documentation and configuration management experience.
• Demonstrated engineering intuition, critical thinking, and comfort with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Manage physical infrastructure of test integration and operations
• Mechanical design of infrastructure and tooling for test integration and operations
• Evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration
• Interface with both engineers, specialists, and technicians tooptimize testing operations
• New vehicle integration into new and existing infrastructure
• Enable day-to-day execution of vehicle integration and test flow to serve our customers
• Evaluate non-conformances todetermineroot cause and create actionable items and system improvements
