Job summary

Impulse Space in Redondo Beach is seeking a Spacecraft Integration Engineer to own the spacecraft build from vehicle assembly through checkouts and launch site integration. You will work across propulsion, avionics, structures, software, test, and manufacturing to drive timely delivery.

You will coordinate system integration, perform critical tests, and lead a multidisciplinary schedule with a high degree of autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, materials or related field).
• 4+ years in integrating, designing, or building aerospace/manufacturing processes.
• 2+ years with pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic test stands.

Responsibilities

• Own spacecraft build from assembly start through integration onto the launch vehicle.
• Execute system-level testing with subsystem owners.
• Plan and drive system integration and activation with technician teams.
• Manage multidisciplinary schedule to deliver spacecraft on time.
• Provide innovative solutions with a high degree of autonomy.
• Collaborate with propulsion, avionics, structures, software, test, and manufacturing teams.
• Identify build issues and drive cross-organizational resolutions.
• Provide feedback to design teams to improve spacecraft processing.
