Job summary

Firefly Aerospace is seeking a motivated Spacecraft Test Technician to join our test operations team at our Briggs, TX facility. This role focuses on hands-on propulsion testing and hardware preparation for the Spectre engine and other liquid propulsion systems.

You will work alongside engineers and technicians, perform setup and maintenance, and contribute to readiness reviews while advancing your expertise in hypergolic propulsion testing. This is a physically active, team-oriented position.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in aerospace, R&D or related fields.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals.
• Experience with engine-related hardware in an aerospace environment.
• OSHA HAZWOPER or hazmat experience.

Responsibilities

• Support hotfire tests for Spectre propulsion engine and related systems.
• Set up, checkout and operate ground support equipment and safety systems.
• Assist during propellant loading, ignition sequences and safing operations.
• Maintain equipment logs and calibration records.
• Follow safety protocols and contribute to continuous improvement.
