Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions (ASFF) at Kennedy Space Center, FL, seeks an entry-level ORION Ground Operations Integration Engineer, Associate to help develop ground vehicle operation requirements and concepts of operations for the Orion spacecraft.

Responsibilities include integrating subsystem requirements across mechanisms, umbilicals, structures, thermal protection, propulsion, and related areas, while supporting shift work and occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline required.
• 0–2 years of engineering experience preferred.
• MS Office experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop ground operations vehicle requirements for subsystems (Mechanisms, Umbilicals, Structures, Thermal Protection, Propulsion, Purge, Vent & Drain).
• Review and integrate vehicle subsystem technical requirements, develop subsystem concepts of operations, review drawings and procedures.
• Monitor ground processing operations and support documentation.
• Travel as necessary and accommodate shift work (1st shift, overtime, weekends).
