Job summary

ASRC Federal System Solutions (ASFF) seeks an entry-level ORION Ground Operations Integration Engineer to join our Kennedy Space Center team in Florida. The role focuses on developing operational products for Orion avionics and flight software, including OMRS, concepts of operations, and work assignment documents.

Responsibilities include developing ground ops vehicle requirements across subsystems, reviewing drawings and procedures, and monitoring ground processing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline and 0-2 years of experience.
• Experience with MS Office Software Suite.
• Pass Site Specific background investigation.
• Physical ability to climb stairs, access work platforms, visually observe operations tasks and walk short distances to safely enter/support/exit processing facilities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop ground operations vehicle requirements for subsystems (Mechanisms, Umbilicals, Structures, Thermal Protection, Propulsion, Purge, Vent & Drain).
• Review and integrate subsystem technical requirements; develop OPS concepts and review drawings and procedures.
• Monitor ground processing operations and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Be prepared to travel to Kennedy Space Center, FL and support off-shifts/weekend activities as needed.
