Job summary

Rocket Lab in Littleton, CO seeks a Spacecraft GNC Engineer II to lead GNC/ADCS development for a growing fleet of spacecraft. You will work across the engineering life cycle from concept to I&T, collaborating with Systems, Avionics, Flight Software, Mission Operations, and Ground Software.

Expect interaction with customers to ensure mission success. Ideal candidates have BS in engineering with 2+ years in GNC/ADCS and US citizenship per ITAR.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering; 2+ years GNC/ADCS industry experience.
• US citizenship required due to ITAR/program requirements.
• Experience interfacing with aerospace customers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design flight software, algorithms, and simulations.
• Develop spacecraft autonomy tools for constellation management.
• GNC component selection and GNC subsystem design.
• Test process development and execution.
• Coordinate with internal and external design reviews.
• Plan and maintain team schedule and milestones.
