Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation in Littleton, CO is seeking a Spacecraft GNC Engineer I. You will lead GNC/ADCS development for Rocket Lab’s growing fleet, performing concept design, flight software, and subsystem integration across the engineering lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Systems, Avionics, Flight Software, Mission Operations, and Ground Software, while coordinating with teams in Long Beach and New Zealand. Security clearance and aerospace experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in GNC/ADCS required.
• Experience interfacing with aerospace customers.

Responsibilities

• Design flight software, algorithms, and simulation products.
• Develop spacecraft autonomy tools for constellation management.
• GNC component selection and subsystem design.
• Test process development and execution.
• Define fault detection and response.
• Hardware-in-the-loop and Monte Carlo simulation.
• Integrate flight and simulation software with analysis, test, and operations tools.
• Coordinate with teams in Long Beach, CA and New Zealand.
