Job summary

Craig Technologies seeks a GN&C Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX or Merritt Island, FL. You will contribute to GN&C design, development, and testing for the Lunar Data Network spacecraft, including real-time software and hardware-in-the-loop integration.

The role involves working on 6-DOF simulations, EKFs/state estimation techniques, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Prior spacecraft GN&C experience and knowledge of RTOS are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, architecture development, and verification testing of GN&C system for LDN spacecraft constellation.
• Develop, test, and review GN&C flight software and control algorithms written in C and C++.
• Support selection, trade studies, procurement, and integration of GN&C sensors and effector systems.
• Execute 6-DOF simulations and Monte Carlo profiles to evaluate on-orbit performance and trajectory stability.
• Assist navigation HWIL/SWIL sensor integration and testing for LDN satellites.
• Support real-time flight software development and autonomous fault-tolerant recovery logic.
