K2 Space Corporation seeks a hands-on Spacecraft Fluids & Pumps Engineering Technician to build and test turbopumps and fluid loop hardware for high-power satellites, from development units to production. The role requires 3+ years in aerospace assembly/test, experience with proof pressure, leak and flow tests, and familiarity with MES/MRP software.

You’ll collaborate across manufacturing, test, quality, and design teams to resolve issues and drive reliability.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of hands-on aerospace or high-reliability assembly and test experience with fluid or rotating hardware (propulsion, thermal control, pumps, etc.).
• Experience with proof pressure, leak and flow testing.
• Hands-on experience with tube fabrication, bending, and fittings (swagelok/compression/AN/VCR).
• Familiar with MES/MRP software.
• Familiar with calibrated tools including multimeters, megohmmeters, power supplies, torque wrenches, and crimpers.
• Demonstrated ownership and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements.

Aufgaben

• Assemble turbopumps and fluid loop hardware to engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Build and test development loops and stands with instrumentation and data acquisition.
• Install and check out sensors and flow meters.
• Fabricate and install precision tubing and fluid lines; perform orbital welding as required.
• Conduct hydraulic performance, leak, flow and proof tests.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, test, quality and design to resolve hardware issues.
