Job summary

Katalyst in Colorado offers an internship across Electrical, Mechanical, GNC, or Software tracks where you’ll work with senior engineers on scoped problems, design reviews, tests, simulations, and documentation.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or CS, with strong fundamentals, hands-on project experience, and a willingness to learn. ITAR awareness and on-site collaboration are expected; relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• Ability to explain technical reasoning clearly.
• Hands-on experience through coursework, labs, or projects.
• Willingness to learn across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to real spacecraft engineering work across four tracks.
• Work with engineers on design, analysis, implementation, or testing.
• Gain hands-on exposure to flight hardware and simulations.
• Document analyses, code, drawings, and test results.
• Demonstrate growing independence and communicate progress.
