Astranis Space Technologies is seeking a CAD Engineer Associate for Summer 2027. This 12‑week, salaried program targets new grads and offers meaningful work on spacecraft hardware and software that contribute to a growing space mission, with opportunities to join full-time later.

Qualifications

• Four-year B.S. degree or currently pursuing an M.S. in mechanical, aerospace, or equivalent technical field.
• Passion for hardware development and hands-on environments.
• Experience with SolidWorks.
• Experience with GD&T and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Model and draw components, structures, and manifolds for spacecraft and supporting structures.
• Maintain and improve design library and data infrastructure.
• Develop, ideate, and document practices for good and efficient design.
