Job summary

Insight Global seeks an Avionics Technician to support design, build, integration, and testing of spacecraft avionics and electrical systems. You will work with Avionics and Electrical Engineers on flight hardware, ground support equipment, and mission-critical electrical systems from initial assembly through launch and on-orbit operations.

Qualifications

• AA or AS degree in Electrical Engineering or at least 3 years industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, soldering, wiring, and harness fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Experience performing electrical testing and verification using industry-standard test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate, test, and maintain electrical hardware for spacecraft and ground systems.
• Build and inspect flight-quality cable harnesses, connectors, PCB assemblies, and electromechanical systems.
• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of electrical components and circuitry.
• Execute electrical testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Support integration, qualification, and environmental testing of avionics and electrical systems.
