Job summary

Valcor Engineering Corporation is seeking a Technician, Vibration Test - 1st Shift to assist in setting up, conducting, and documenting vibration testing for Valcor Space products. The role collaborates with Engineers to design fixturing, integrate new products, perform tests, and report results in a fast-paced production lab environment.

The position requires operating vibration test equipment, reading technical documents, and maintaining an organized lab.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read technical documentation and follow procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain detail-oriented workflow.
• Effective verbal/written communication with all levels of personnel.
• Drive and execute against a delineated test schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate electrodynamic and pneumatic vibration systems to test valves and components.
• Set up fixturing and run vibration tests per procedures.
• Read and interpret drawings, procedures, and travelers.
• Ensure test software is properly programmed to meet requirements.
• Document all testing thoroughly.
• Maintain organized vibration lab and equipment.
• Troubleshoot or report equipment needing repair.
