Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a student intern for the Vehicle Ground Concepts Department in El Segundo, CA. You will assist in early-stage design studies for spacecraft and ground concepts, and help maintain tools used in design analyses.

You will collaborate with VGCD staff and interns, applying coursework in aerospace/engineering, and contributing to multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate program pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Supporting early-stage design studies for spacecraft/ground concepts; studies can be small or large and involve experts.
• Assisting with development, maintenance, and improvement of tools and models used during spacecraft design and analysis.
• Collaborating with VGCD staff, program office personnel, and other Aerospace engineering team members including interns.
