Job summary

Aurex is seeking a Space Vehicle Bus Systems Engineer to drive systems engineering across spacecraft bus subsystems supporting national security missions. You will ensure subsystem performance, integration, and alignment with system-level requirements, schedules, and mission objectives in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with space vehicle systems engineering, planning, integration, and testing.
• 7+ years across at least two subsystems: structures, mechanisms, electrical power, attitude control, thermal, propulsion, communications, or C&DH.
• 3+ years of experience with DoD program reviews (SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA).
• Experience with Confluence or Jira.
• Experience analyzing integrated master schedules.
• Experience analyzing contractor earned value data.
• Ability to be highly motivated with a dynamic work ethic and DoD mission commitment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and establish collaborative relationships with government clients and contractor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering efforts across space vehicle bus subsystems to ensure performance and integration.
• Support major program reviews (SRR through PCA) and ensure readiness.
• Analyze subsystem and program-level integrated master schedules and EVMS data.
• Collaborate with government clients and contractor teammates to align with mission requirements.
• Support system-level testing and verification to meet objectives.
