Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Enabling Products (MEP) invites applications for a Test Engineering Manager 2 in the Deployables group, based in Oxnard, CA. You will oversee a team of 15–20 engineers and technicians, blending functional management with program-level support to deliver test engineering products on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8+ years of engineering experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience testing space hardware in aerospace/defense industry.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing engineering teams to deliver solutions within cost and schedule constraints.
• Knowledge of workforce/resource planning, including allocating resources across programs and forecasting staffing needs.
• Must be able and willing to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of approximately 15-20 engineers and technicians across space programs.
• Provide staffing strategies and set performance goals; conduct reviews.
• Ensure day-to-day test execution aligns with cost and schedule goals.
• Oversee test engineering deliverables, procedures, and GSE requirements.
