Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Test Engineer at Level 2 or 3 to join our MEP Team onsite. You will design, develop, and implement testing methods, plan labor and schedules, and evaluate standard and special devices.

The role requires a STEM degree with experience, willingness to travel 10%, and U.S. citizenship. Opportunities to work on space and defense systems with a focus on quality, safety and cost.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in STEM with 2 years of test experience or Master's Degree in STEM.
Experience troubleshooting test equipment, test tooling, and test harnesses.
Experience with testing automation or other lean manufacturing/testing methodologies.
Demonstrated technical writing and/or procedure development skills.
Ability to travel between Oxnard, CA and Goleta, CA sites ~10% of the time.
U.S. Citizenship

Responsibilities

Perform product testing, coordinating test planning and data reduction.
Integrate products to test tooling, software, equipment, and instrumentation.
Support data collection, post-test data review, and test requirements verification.
Assist in producing test documentation for technical reviews.
Participate in internal and external reviews and present findings.
Apply modern tools to reduce cost and schedule of testing.
