Job summary

Katalyst Space Technologies, based in Colorado, seeks an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, A/P, A/R, payroll, and fixed assets while upholding U.S. GAAP and scalable processes.

Ideal candidate has 3–6 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field, and proficiency with NetSuite and Excel; strong internal controls, audits, and fundraising experience are a plus. Competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years accounting experience, preferably in tech/aerospace/manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations: GL, close, A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements per U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain scalable accounting processes, internal controls, and policies.
