Job summary

True Anomaly, Inc. is seeking an entry-level DevOps Engineer I to join our software deployment and operations team.

You will work under senior engineers to learn and support CI/CD processes, deployment automation, and cloud-based infrastructure across Azure and container platforms. You will gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker while helping maintain reliable deployments and scalable systems in a dynamic environment with potential for growth into a regular role based on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud environments, or systems administration.
• Basic understanding of Linux and command line tools.
• Introductory experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Exposure to scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Learn fundamentals of software deployment and operations for cloud-based systems.
• Assist in reliable, version-controlled deployments supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with senior engineers to improve CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions).
• Assist in deploying and scaling applications on Kubernetes ensuring performance and cost targets.
• Support cloud resource provisioning and management with Terraform.
• Collaborate with security teams following established guidelines.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Help build and refine Docker images for development/testing environments.
• Explore new tools and techniques to modernize workflows.
