Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking an entry-level DevOps Engineer I to support deployment, monitoring, and automation of cloud-based systems. You will learn from experienced engineers while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments in a dynamic environment.

This 3-month temporary role offers hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, with potential conversion based on performance and business needs. Centennial, CO or Long Beach, CA onsite work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 0–2 years of DevOps, cloud environments, or systems administration experience.
• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command line tools.
• Introductory experience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Exposure to scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced team environment.
• U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Learn deployment and operations fundamentals for cloud-based systems.
• Assist in maintaining reliable, version-controlled deployments.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with senior guidance.
• Assist in deploying and scaling applications on Kubernetes.
• Support design and management of Azure-based cloud resources with security in mind.
• Help provision and manage cloud resources using Terraform.
• Collaborate with security teams following guidelines and best practices.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Develop and refine Docker images for development/testing environments.
• Experiment with new tools to modernize workflows.
