Job summary

0909 SP - Orbital Space Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer Training Lead for their Colorado Springs location. This role involves designing and delivering high-quality training on astrodynamics and satellite operations for both customers and internal students, ensuring preparedness across mission types.

The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and significant experience with spacecraft operations. A Top Secret clearance is required due to the nature of the job, and this position is 100% onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 8 years of professional experience.
• Current U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance required.
• Experience in spacecraft operations and mission planning.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality training for astrodynamics and satellite operations.
• Ensure operators are prepared for missions spanning LEO through GEO.
• Support off-hours training events as required.
