Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector in Aurora, CO is hiring a Principal Lead Systems Trainer at Level 3 to lead the training of complex space systems. The role is 100% onsite with potential relocation support and requires a TS clearance with polygraph.

You will maintain training materials, develop procedures, and own the simulator training scripts, coordinating across engineering and operations to ensure accurate, up‑to‑date training products for a rotating shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Approved STEM Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance, SCI access, and complete a Counterintelligence Polygraph examination prior to start.
• Ability to work off‑ and extended hours covering a 24/7 period of periodic rotating 12‑hour shifts.
• Proven leadership experience on a project and/or team.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain system level training material for multiple system architectures.
• Develop and improve training products, procedures, and processes.
• Checkout new baseline updates on the simulator to create required training updates.
• Own training suite of scripts used to initialize the simulator into an operations‑like configuration and update and maintain training scripts.
• Work off‑ and extended hours covering a 24/7 period of periodic rotating 12‑hour shifts.
• Demonstrate proficiency utilizing the SIM software to train classes.
• Cross‑train into operations engineering to update products and attain crew certifications.
• May involve periodic rotating crew shifts to maintain proficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
