Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking an engineer to support test engineering activities across SP RS programs. The role focuses on deploying and maintaining test environments and tools for C2 integration, troubleshooting, and test tool development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to work full time on site
• Active TS/SCI
• Experience with space vehicle command packetization and telemetry decommutation
• Knowledge of space command and control (C2) systems
• Experience with TCP/IP and UDP protocols
• Space vehicle system-level test engineering experience

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain test environments across multiple programs, including command and control (C2) systems, embedding with program teams as needed.
• Implement program-specific C2 capabilities and integrate our common scripting framework with the various C2 applications used across different programs.
• Troubleshoot test environment, tooling, and integration issues to keep test campaigns on schedule.
• Develop, maintain, and support test tools, including those on our Constellation platform for command and control, telemetry visualization, and post-test review.
• Develop, execute, and debug space vehicle system-level test scripts in Python across multiple subsystems.
• Evaluate and adopt new test methodologies, and provide technical guidance and training to program personnel on the use of test software tools.
