Space Dynamics Laboratory seeks a Mid-Level Software Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute software test plans embedded with a government sponsor. You will work with Government Test and Evaluation staff and cross-functional teams to verify and validate systems.

Responsibilities include leading test strategies, reviewing test artifacts, and implementing automated testing where appropriate, while ensuring traceability from requirements to testing and acceptance criteria.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent with 5+ years of related experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a software test engineer or similar.
• 10 years experience may substitute for degree + 5 years experience.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• DoD security clearance
• U.S. citizenship

Mansioni

• Provide leadership for verification and validation of hardware and software systems.
• Review test strategies, plans, procedures, and results for adequate coverage.
• Develop risk-based test strategies balancing rigor, priorities, and release schedules.
• Coordinate test activities among Government stakeholders, developers, and testers.
• Develop and improve automated testing approaches as appropriate.
• Mentor engineers and technicians supporting test and IV&V activities.
