Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service seeks a senior space systems test and evaluation leader to supervise the civilian workforce within the 17th Test and Evaluation Squadron and act as Technical Director. You will plan and oversee test activities, provide expert guidance on policy, test design, and resource planning, and mentor staff while ensuring safety and security regulations.

Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain Top-Secret/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Engineering discipline with leadership responsibilities in space systems testing and evaluation.
• Knowledge of test and evaluation methodologies, policy development, and program planning.
• Experience mentoring staff and directing cross-functional teams in a DoD/space domain.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and oversees test and evaluation activities for the 17th Test and Evaluation Squadron.
• Serves as technical liaison and space test/Evaluation SME for 17 TES, Delta 12, STARCOM, and USSF.
• Provides broad professional space system acquisition and test/evaluation engineering guidance to leadership and test personnel.
• Guides and briefs test policy and provides test management and technical direction.
• Structures test operations, develops evaluation measures, and identifies resources for systems under test.
