Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a Software Test/Technical Advisor within the 1st Test and Evaluation Squadron to support test campaigns for software-intensive systems. You will work with the Test Director and project leads to ensure technically sound test plans and reports.

The role requires developing and validating test methodologies, reviewing safety plans, and ensuring alignment with Delta 12 policies. Remote telework is limited to special circumstances.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of how software intensive systems are tested prior to deployment/fielding.
• Knowledge of theories, concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques in software testing.
• Ability to handle and safeguard sensitive/classified information in accordance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Software test/technical advisor to Test Director and Test Project Leads.
• Reviews/creates technical documents in support of test programs.
• Supports the Project Safety Lead by reviewing Test Safety Plans.
• Ensures test teams follow the squadron Technical Director’s guidance.
• Develops/validates test methodologies and design of experiments.
