Job summary

Blue Origin in Colorado is seeking a Test Engineer I to support verification and functional test activities on the Vehicle Test Bench, Flatsat, and HIL environments under guidance from senior engineers. You will gain hands-on spacecraft test experience while helping build the test infrastructure for high-rate satellite production.

Qualified candidates have a 0–2 year hands-on tech background, strong attention to detail, and the ability to document observations clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in hardware test, systems integration, laboratory electronics, or a related hands-on technical role; internships/co-ops accepted.
• Ability to follow detailed technical procedures carefully and completely.
• Basic familiarity with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and data recording; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute test procedures on the VTB and HIL bench under supervision; record results accurately.
• Assist with bench configuration and GSE setup for test campaigns; perform pre/post-test checks.
• Document test anomalies clearly; escalate off-nominal observations to senior engineers.
• Support documentation updates after test execution and ensure ESD compliance.
• Maintain bench discipline, configuration accountability, and test readiness gate preparations.
