Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Mid-Level System Test Engineer based at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. You will lead system-level testing for satellite ground systems, coordinating with vendors, engineering teams, and government stakeholders in secure DoD environments.

You will develop test strategies, execute campaigns, and drive test automation within a DevSecOps CI/CD context, ensuring mission readiness and compliance with security requirements.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of general full-time work experience.
• 3+ years in complex enterprise IT system testing and integration.
• Experience with enterprise IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, virtualization, system services).
• Strong ability to author test plans and lead complex test campaigns.
• Experience designing or executing test automation solutions.
• Experience coordinating across multiple vendors, engineering teams, Agile environments, and government stakeholders.
• Understanding of the Systems Engineering V model.
• Active DoW Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system-level test strategies, plans, procedures, and verification artifacts.
• Provide technical guidance for standardization and performance targets.
• Coordinate test activities across vendors, engineering teams, Agile groups, and government stakeholders.
• Manage the Integrated Master Test Schedule for DT/OT events and readiness reviews.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, performance, cybersecurity, and end-to-end tests.
• Validate software builds and modifications to enterprise satellite ground system components.
• Test IT infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization.
• Develop automated test scripts for CI/CD pipelines in DevSecOps.
• Apply DevSecOps pipelines to infrastructure as code and automated builds.
