Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance for this position.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4+ years of systems engineering experience.
• 1+ years in Systems Safety engineering and related standards.
• Ability to coordinate with many stakeholders and customers.
• Strong written/verbal communication and public speaking skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate ESOH risks and support Space Flight Worthiness certification.
• Document and update Government System Safety documents.
• Review contractor docs, hazard analyses, and mitigation plans.
• Perform safety risk assessments per guidance and prepare reports.
• Prepare PESHE, SDAR/EOLP, and Environmental Analyses for space vehicles.
• Support System Safety elements of Space Flight Worthiness certification.
• Collaborate with prime and support contractors, government civilians, and US Space Force.
