Job summary

Aerodyne Industries seeks a Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) Engineer to join the COSMOS program at Johnson Space Center. You will help ensure mission-control system reliability through RMA analysis and model development, working with NASA engineers and contractors.

You will analyze requirements, design changes, and availability metrics, contributing to system-level trade studies and documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Aerospace Engineering plus 0–5 years of related experience.
Must be able to obtain NASA PIV badge.

Responsibilities

Work with customers, users, and engineers to analyze requirements, user stories, and operations concepts.
Apply RMA analysis techniques to recommend RMA-based technical solutions.
Support generation and analysis of system availability metrics for Mission Systems facilities.
Build and maintain RMA models and block diagrams.
Create or update documentation for design and change instruments.
Perform post data processing, post data reduction, and data mining.
Conduct system analyses, assessments, trade studies, and interface definitions.
Develop RMA inputs to proposals and evaluate responses.
Contribute to systems architecture design and integration efforts.
Provide RMA support to implementing organizations and customers.
Collaborate in a team to develop solutions.
