Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to decompose reliability requirements, perform predictions on mechanical and electrical components, and drive system-level reliability improvements across design, test, and operations. You will collaborate with engineers, operations, and customers to enhance spaceflight safety and mission success.

Candidates should have a strong engineering foundation, cross-disciplinary experience, and a commitment to inclusive, safe spaceflight

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering or other major requiring engineering or mathematical core courses.
• 5+ years working in a reliability role in a design, operational or manufacturing environment.
• Proven cross-disciplinary experience across mechanical, fluid, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and decompose reliability requirements.
• Perform reliability predictions on mechanical and electrical components.
• Conduct system-level reliability assessments.
• Design reliability/life tests and reliability growth modeling.
