KBR is seeking a Software Engineer/Developer to join our Albuquerque team supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory's Space Warfare Directorate. You will design and develop software in C++, Python, and AFSIM, collaborating with government and industry to build simulation capabilities for space systems.

Responsibilities include modeling and simulation studies, data analysis, and leading project aspects while communicating status to customers. On-site work with standard 40-hour week.

Formación

• 8+ years of programming experience in C++, Python, Matlab, and Visual Basic.
• Experience with AFSIM is highly desired.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally to support acquisition docs and team collaboration.
• Ability to build, integrate and troubleshoot software components.
• Active TS/SCI clearance preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform software design and development in C++, Python, and proprietary AFSIM script.
• Collaborate with customers and systems engineers to develop and translate requirements.
• Research trends for concept designs and translate to detailed software models.
• Provide technical engineering support to analysis projects.
• Conduct modeling and simulation studies and analyses.
• Analyze test data on space systems and compare to M&S results.
