Job summary

AV is offering a paid Summer Internship in Systems Engineering within Space Technologies. The 12-week, onsite program targets motivated students or recent graduates, with a minimum 3.0 GPA and preference for juniors and above. Relocation/housing stipends may be available depending on location.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, system modeling, documentation, and verification planning, using Cameo, Python, and MS Office tools. ITAR/EAR compliance and U.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field related to Systems Engineering or aerospace.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements analysis, organization, derivation, and traceability.
• Assist with system modeling and Model-Based Systems Engineering activities.
• Support the development and maintenance of technical documentation.
• Assist with verification and validation planning and tracking.
• Support the refinement, documentation, and improvement of Systems Engineering processes.
• Use tools such as Cameo, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Python, and other engineering tools as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering and other disciplines.
• Participate in technical reviews and lab/integration/test activities as opportunities arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
