Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to work with experienced engineers on real-world space systems. You will help with requirements, interfaces, system-level analysis, and test planning in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

Eligible candidates are enrolled in an engineering BS/MS/PhD with a GPA ≥3.5, have space systems experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Onsite at our facilities, with competitive compensation for interns.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in BS/MS/PhD program in Engineering or related technical field.
• Targeting rising juniors or seniors with GPA 3.5 or higher.
• Practical space systems experience through coursework, internships, clubs, or research.
• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and verification of real-world space systems with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Engage in requirements development, interface definition, and system-level analysis.
• Conduct trade studies, integration planning, and test execution.
• Assignments matched to interests and active program needs.
