Qualifications

• 5–10 years of space/defense/IC analysis or systems engineering experience.
• Experience using space mission M&S tools (STK/AFSIM) to support analytic tasks.
• Working understanding of space and ground architectures and their interfaces.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, CS, or related field.
• U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support threat-informed mission engineering activities and end-to-end mission thread analysis.
• Develop and execute M&S cases using STK/AFSIM or Python/MATLAB to characterize performance, coverage, and timelines.
• Translate intelligence on space/counterspace systems into technical requirements, MOP/MOE, and risk considerations.
• Coordinate with IC, DoD, and mission centers to ensure analytic consistency and support decision processes.
• Contribute to test and evaluation planning, including modeling for test design and data sufficiency.
• Produce clear, technically grounded assessments and briefings on space threat systems.
• Provide SETA support across the acquisition lifecycle: requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and config mgmt.
• Apply analytic standards and QA practices to engineering products.
