Job summary

PNT Colorado Springs, CO manages critical space systems and operations support for SSC/PNT programs. The role demands an experienced engineer comfortable with both hardware and software integrations and with coordinating across government leads and prime contractors.

You will participate in Integrated Product Teams, develop briefings, and help evolve enterprise engineering processes, ensuring efficient mission support and risk mitigation for national security space initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Self-starter who works well in a diverse team.
• Experience with Air Force/Space Force/DoD customers in operations and sustainment, Space Systems (SSC).
• Experience writing and delivering technical documents, analyses, and briefings.
• Excellent verbal and written communications; highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Directly supporting the SE&I Operations Lead.
• Ensuring requirements integration across operational space and ground, hardware and software, and all aspects of systems and organizations for control segment capabilities.
• Interacting with government leads to provide engineering analysis support and requirements development for system modernization.
• Coordinating with the prime Contractor and government leads to generate and maintain system engineer process training to increase efficiency.
• On-call support of satellite subsystem maintenance, anomaly resolution, and special activities on GPS.
• Developing, documenting, executing, integrating, and evolving systems engineering processes for SSC/PNT Enterprise.
• Assessing proposed Enterprise baseline changes for impacts to operational system requirements and capabilities.
• Developing operations and sustainment related briefings, plans, papers, and other documentation for SSC/PNT Enterprise decisions.
