Job summary

West Coast Solutions is expanding its Atlanta satellite office and seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, test, and develop power systems and mechanism controllers for space applications.

You will work with experienced engineers on hardware development from concept through validation, collaborating with Jet Propulsion Laboratory and GT SRI partners to deliver flight-ready systems.

Qualifications

• - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.
• - Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• - Exposure to circuit analysis, simulation, or electronic hardware development.
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• - Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of power systems and mechanism controllers for space and lunar applications.
• Support the design and development of analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic systems.
• Perform circuit analysis, simulation, and component selection activities.
• Assist with schematic development and hardware integration efforts.
• Support prototype builds and product validation efforts.
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation and test reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout product development.
