Job summary

Apex - Satellite Platforms in Los Angeles is looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer to drive the design of avionics, flight computer, and power systems for spacecraft. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience and be innovative in their approach to push design limits.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 - $215,000 per year along with exceptional benefits, including 100% company-paid healthcare and equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of spacecraft electronics experience is required.
• Extensive experience in spacecraft design, launch, and operation.
• Experience across multiple spacecraft programs is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise in design and analysis of DC-DC power converters.
• Work on electrical power system design trades and develop requirements.
• Drive system and electrical architecture trades, product requirements, and component selection.
