The role emphasizes aerospace structures, CAD modeling, design reviews, and supporting materials. Travel and off-site work may be required; U.S. citizenship and clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in CAD tools; NX preferred.
• Experience leading the design across engineering disciplines.
• Ability to document design processes and write technical plans.
• Strong communication across diverse backgrounds.
• U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.
• Willingness to travel and work off-site.

Responsibilities

• Design primary and secondary aerospace structures and systems.
• Create CAD models and present to customers.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines to drive decisions.
• Identify issues, develop solutions and communicate impacts.
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with engineers.
• Manage schedules to meet expectations.
• Develop and present at design reviews.
• Prepare supporting materials such as BOMs and procedures.
